Amendments have been made to the Civil Procedure Code, the Family Code of Russia, the federal laws On Bailiffs and On Enforcement, and the Law On Private Detective and Security Activities. The amendments are aimed at the practical implementation of the Convention Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, signed at the Hague on October 25, 1980, which came into force for Russia on 1 October 2011.
It has been published and will come into force on 17 May 2014.
